Well, its true...Mommy races too! I finished my second family 5K last weekend. It was HOT and humid, but we finished. Sadly, my time was worse the second time around. That is not too encouraging. I'm going to chalk it up to the increased weight in the jogger. C&G are getting heavy to run behind!
Please excuse the hot mess. It wasn't pretty, but most people aren't pretty when they run.
Eventhough this was supposed to be about me, I have to take a moment to brag on Neal too. I needed some motivation towards the end of the race and he stepped in like a champ. He ran the last 1/10 mile backwards, pulling the stroller so that the little people could face me. They were chanting, "Go Mommy, go! Go Mommy, go!" all the way to the finish line. Bless his heart, Neal let me cross first although he could have finished the race in 1/3 of the time that it took me. Thanks, Babe! The staff at the finish line said that he set a Marine Corps Marathon Series record: the first person to finish backwards AND pulling a stroller.

That's awesome! And jogging while pushing a stroller makes it SO much harder - and I only have one baby...I can hardly imagine two kiddos!!
